A Bible! A bible! we have a bible

At zone conference we all got Vietnamese bibles so that was super exciting! we have been running into a lot of people of Christian faiths and so to be able to use the bible now will be super great!

Speaking of Zone conference it was so amazing. We focused on recognizing the Holy Ghost. There are 4 lessons you could say of how the spirit prompts us. One is revelation but not knowing beforehand, so being lead even though you don't know you are being lead. this comes as you are obedient and strive to follow Gods will (think of Nephi getting the brass plates). The Second is revelation through repetition. So when you read something or learn something a million times and then one day something clicks and your understanding deepens. The next is revelation as a conclusion so like a prompting to do something even though you don't know why. And then revelation as time, so knowing what you need to do already but understanding the right time (Like extending an invitation at the right time). So if you want to learn more about the Spirit Elder Bednar has some super good stuff.

Okay so other than that we dropped a lot of people this week but it was like the very spiritual and rather pleasant lessons that help me know that God really has a plan for them. One of them, Anh Tuan we all bore our testimonies of the gospel and his girlfriend who is a member shared hers and the spirit was so strong and it was so hard to see him still not ready to accept. But we have also had some awesome experiences with Chi Ngan and Anh Chung. We had a scare this week with Anh Chung saying he was going to be baptized in the protestant church. He has been dealing with some family stuff recently and so he wasn't able to meet last week. But he met yesterday and we talked about plan of salvation and Joseph Smith and asked about his thoughts on baptism and he just replied that he just wants to have a greater faith. He knows the Book of Mormon is true and wants to keep learning about Christ and how to increase his faith before he makes a decision. It was super touching and the spirit was super strong.

We also met with 2 of our young investigators', named Han and Chau, parents to help them understand what we do and the things that they are learning and they were so so receptive. It was such a miracle cuz we were so nervous about the Dad but he was really awesome and they are now all learning together as a family!

Last thing we had 9 people come up from Western Vietnam to get baptized yesterday and it was the most humbling cutest experience ever. They don't know much about the gospel but they know that God loves them and that this is His church. Co Cuc Nga was also able to share her story of how she was able to find the church and get it started again in Vietnam through revelation and the Lord's timing. It's so amazing because in just 15ish years the church has grown from 20 or so people to 7000 members all over Vietnam. I love this work and love getting to see the hand of the Lord in the lives of these people.

Love Chi Xuan

A couple of the people who got baptized yesterday. I didn't really know who they were but when i said hi to the little girl who didn't say anything back but just grabbed my hand and just held on for a while. You could just feel Gods love for her so much.
We met 2 Nigerians so we had a member who is also from Nigeria come and help. That was a fun lesson
