Happy Valentine's Day--Week 20 or something like that--I lose track!

Holy cow I cant even believe it but I'm almost done with training! that is crazy!

But anyway Happy Valentines day everyone! hope it is awesome and you find someone to love this week!

Anyway this week has started to slow down a bit because of Tet. Literally everyone is leaving the city this week but we were still able to meet Anh Hung and Chi Linh and a bunch of recent converts!

We also made Kim Chi this week with one of the Korean ladies in our branch and it is sooo good but so spicy!

Adventures with Bac Bon part 3: So Bac Bon (the member who sells beer and hooka things in an ally and who we go massage her hands sometimes) calls us this week and want to meet us. She sounds really excited and so naturally we are too! so we plan a really good lesson about temples because we want all the members to go to the temple in the Phillipines this summer. Anyway we go over and she takes us to her house and we go in and up like 11 flights of winding stairs to the roof balcony thing. Then she hands us her phone and keys and says "If anything happens call my son." Then she crawls on top of a stack of boxes into a very tight space between her house and her neighbors onto the roof. Now she is like 70-80 years old and we are worried for her cuz we cant see her and can only hear a bunch of noise!. But she doesn't let us come up cuz its dangerous and she wants us to stay there while she cleans the roof. So we just waited and sung hymns to her for an hour. Not your typical missionary work but it was a good service to here haha!

We also got to meet with Charlie the Scottish pastor and that is always such a good time!

Scripture of the week:Alma 31:26-38. Such a beautiful scripture that teaches us the simplicity of prayer and how we can really have such a close relationship with our Father in Heaven. Alma asks for peace and comfort and strength in order to do the Lords will and he shows such faith in Him during hard times. I love it!

Anyway hope you all have a wonderful week! Love and miss you all

Love Sister Jenna Connell!
