The field is white and already to harvest!

Hello Hello Hello!
Okay here is your Vietnamese lesson for the week! What do you get when you mix a pomegranate (lựu) and a bullet (đạn)? A grenade (lựu đạn)
I know I know--not funny but it's fun to compare the literal and actual translation of Vietnamese

Anyway what a crazy week! Seriously though! It was transfer week and so much has happened! so here's a quick run down:

Remember the old lady named Co Sang who we met on the street who is Buddhist but loves the Bible? She is an investigator now! And she loves when we read the Book of Mormon to her! She is such a fireball and was so fun to teach!

Also remember Coffee guy who gave us juice and hot chocolate? He is also an investigator! We met with him again last week to teach the restoration and he had sooo many awesome questions! He already has a real christian background and is super well read in the Bible. At the end of the lesson we invited him to down load the Book of Mormon (cuz we are limited and don't give them out a lot) and he was like "Oh I already have one!" And we were like what?! where in the world did you get a Book of Mormon? Here it's not like you can just go to the store and buy one or have one given to you on the street! Turns out he met the missionaries 3 years ago but stopped learning cuz of a miscommunication about the Bible! Wow God's plan is truly perfect! So that was cool!

Anyway sad though cuz that was in my last area but I am super pumped about my new area! I am in District 6 now on the western most part of HCM. My new comp is Chi Thuy and she is from Layton Utah! So that is way fun! The members in the branch are super friendly and I get to teach Em Thanh! She is my favorite investigator in the world and always came to our english club in Phu My Hung! It's been a couple of busy days trying to get to know the area and people and everything but I'm starting to get used to changing so much haha!

Kinda funny story. So we have been studying outside of our apartment everyday so we have more opportunities to open our mouth and talk to people. The funny thing is our study turns into contacting because people just come up to us and start talking to us! We had one guy in a coffee shop who while we were reading the Book of Mormon in Vietnamese asked if he could see our book and just started reading it. After a couple of pages he said "Wow this book is awesome" and he wants to learn more! So basically super awesome! God has prepared so many people and all we have to do is open our mouths!

D&C 33:7 Yea, verily, verily, I say unto you, that the field is white already to harvest; wherefore, thrust in your sickles, and reap with all your might, mind, and strength. Open your mouths and they shall be filled, and you shall become even as Nephi of old, who journeyed from Jerusalem in the wilderness.

Okay that's about all for today! Love you all and hope you have a great week!
