Happy New Year

Let me tell you Christmas out on the mission is the BEST! so fun cuz everyone is just way happy and wants to learn about the true meaning of Christmas! We got to go over and teach Chi Huong's family and it was so awesome! I love getting to tell all these cute families that they get to live together forever as we teach the plan of salvation! It brings so much hope and joy! In fact the daughter was so excited she started sing "True colors" for us right in the middle of the lesson. I didn't really know how to respond but it was awesome.
Also this week Chí Hướng (english name:Tomato) is progressing sooo fast! We meet with her like everyday and she has so many questions. They other day she asked if we could explain the pictures in the front of the Book of Mormon and we got to the waters of mormon one and she asked us what we need to do to be baptized. The spirit was just so strong as we explained to her what baptism was and invited her to be baptized in her little one room home.
We also met this man at our little supermarket on P-day they other day and grabbed his number real quick as we were headed out. Well long story short he texts us and we didn't even remember who he was and we invited him to meet and he has the strongest faith i have every seen. His greatest desire is to come closer to God and he is willing to do everything he can in order to do so. Ive never had so much fun teaching someone! They other day we shared about the Book of Mormon and he just asked "So if i want to know more about Jesus Im going to have to read this book?" YES!
Joseph Smith said "a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.”
Speaking of tomorrow is the new year and we should be finishing up the Book of Mormon challenge given to us by President Nelson. He promised us  "You will be brought closer to the Savior in this process, and changes, even miracles, will begin to happen." I have been able to see so many miracles come from reading the book of mormon. It truly has power to change hearts.
Speaking of changing its the new year and we have been inviting everyone here to change and become kinder, more loving, more christlike and the response has been awesome especially in english class! I hope each of you can think of something you want to improve and make some awesome goals of how you can do better this year!
Have a great new year!
